Cement fillings are softer than plastic. They are a light, slightly yellow colour. The cost of cement fillings is covered by the statutory health insurance schemes.

Plastic fillings adhere well, which makes them strong. They last longer than cement fillings. The cost of plastics is not fully covered by the statutory health insurance schemes.
