Crowns

In most cases, the tooth decay has attacked the nerve and the tooth needs nerve treatment.

A steel crown is needed for such teeth, giving them a good chance of fulfilling their space-maintaining function until there is a natural change.

Teeth with a defect in the enamel also may be protected by a steel crown, which will allow the teeth to fully recover their function.

The colour of children’s crowns is either silver or white. The ‘white’ steel crowns have been coated with plastic, and their colour matches the colour of milk teeth well.
